Hi!
I have a linux box with two nics, on eth0 an external IP address, on eth1
192.168.200.1
It is masquerading traffic from 192.168.200.0/24 and it works OK, but I
cannot ping its own internal interface from this machine, 192.168.200.1,
it does not answer despite the fact that it is working because I can
access the Internet from the inside PCs. But I can ping other PCs on the
same class as 192.168.200.2, etc
I don't understand this because at home I have a linux with eth0 to the
inside network and sl0 to the internet, and it lets me ping its own
internal ip.
Is it possible to configure masq to let an internal PC go out to the
internet or not depending on the NIC card's MAC address?
Thanks,
Victoria
