Thanks for your response...I couldn't get dsniff 2.3 to build however, and
the FAQ wasn't much help.

Anyways, from the limited tests I've run so far, it seems that the requests
from these alien hosts aren't even making it into my routing logic...I
assume it's because they are coming from addresses not on the same network
as my router.  How can I make sure these offending requests get routed?  If
they get that far then I can have SquidGuard redirect src=!(172.16.0.0) to
an instruction page.  Could I set up a(n) alias(es) that would catch all
possible IP addresses?  How should my routing tables be set up?  Am I
looking at this completely wrong?

Like I said before, I am not a network engineer and I don't really have a
comprehensive understanding of networking principles - I'm only a Biology
teacher!
