I have Identd running on my Linux box with kernel 2.2.17:
The Pidentd Ibench test program reports successfully that identd is running.
And, I loaded the Bitchx client and got an identd response from the server.
src/ibench
Test started, will run for 60 seconds (or press Ctrl-C to terminate).
Test OK: 339 requests in 60 seconds (5 requests/s)
However, no client machine is able to get a ident response from the server.
I searched the archives and cannot find anything that might be blocking
auth. Anyone have any ideas how I can proceed?
I'm running ipchains with moderate firewall ruleset.
