I hope somebody will be able to help me. I just installed Mandrake 8.1, everything is default, nothing special. I installed my DSL connection, works great. I installed DHCP, works great, too. I installed the rc.firewall script from http://www.e-infomax.com/ipmasq/howto/beta/c-html/firewall-examples.html#RC. FIREWALL-2.4.X, it does not work. I can ping my external IP from a client, but I can't ping any other IP address out in the world from my clients. I tried doing all the steps from the example http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Masquerading-Simple-HOWTO/indepth.html and it worked! So something must be wrong with the rc.firewall script. Now the only bad thing is, that my connection is too secure, so I really need the rc.firewall. Please guys, don't let me hanging here. I'm really not into all this stuff so I need some help. Thanks!
