I've got it working now. Thanks to some questions from "THE CROW" which pointed me in the right direction, I figured out that I had set the gateway set wrong on the eth1 (internal) interface on the masqing server. I had set the gateway there to be 192.168.0.1. Now that I have changed it to the external address of that machine (64.81.51.1), everything seems ok, with one apparently harmless exception. When I do the "ifup eth1" I get these seemingly bogus messages: SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Peter McCluskey | Free Jon Johansen! http://www.rahul.net/pcm | _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
