A little more information regarding my last email... I am trying to run the command /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall-2.4-stronger remotely from my Windows machine through SSH. The files were all created exactly the same way, copied from the IP MASQ HOW-TO webpage and pasted into Wordpad. They were editted to match my configuration and uploaded via SSH. The rc.local file was also editted to add the line to run rc.firewall-2.4 at startup. I can run both /etc/rc.d/rc.local and /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall-2.4 from the command line through SSH, but nothing I do will let me run rc.firewall-2.4-stronger. Now, even if I try to recreate the original rc.firewall-2.4 file the same way I did in the first place, it gives me the same "No such file or directory" response. I ran into this problem one time before, and the only way I was able to edit the files and have them execute was if they were editted right on the Linux machine. I never did find a fix for the problem at that time. _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
