Hi I've followed all the setup steps in the IPMASQ HOWTO V2.00.041902 but ran into one or two problems. The first problem happens when I want to add the firewall-2.4 script in a run level. When executing the script "chkconfig --level=345 firewall-2.4 on" I get the following error :- "service firewall-2.4 does not support chkconfig." The second problem is an error when executing the rc.firewall-2.4 script that read as follows :- "iptables v1.2.3: Unknown arg '-j' ". Why do I still have iptables v1.2.3 when I followed the HOWTO and installed the latest iptables v1.2.6a? The third problem is that I cannot ping an IP on the internet from a client box. I can ping my EXTIF from a client but not an internet IP. Why? I run kernel 2.4.18. Any, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
