Oh, I face this problem; Here are my networks: Before: Dynamic IP ADSL Connection Pentium Linux NAT router, ipchains, Linux Kernel 2.2, LAN Card Autonego. 6 Workstations: 1 Windows Me, 1 Windows 98SE, 2 Windows 2K, 2 Windows XP, ALL Lan Card Auto-nego. Router and all stations except XP stations connect in full duplex to a switch, while XP stations connect to a 10M hubs in half duplex then to the switch mentioned. All IP and Gateway, DNS set manually. Network: 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0 And Now: Dynamic IP ADSL Connection Alpha Linux NAT router, iptables, Linux Kernel 2.4, LAN Card forced 100BaseT-FD 6 Workstations remain unchanged, except IP, Gateway and DNS are from DHCP. Network: 172.16.0.0/255.255.0.0 Now I find terrible is that Windows XP stations is extremely slow (~10-20K) for connections to Internet, But connections within the LAN is normal. But http go fine if I had used transperency proxy on the router. But other station work very well (~200-300K) Would anyone please to solve my problems? -- _______________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Meet Singles http://corp.mail.com/lavalife _______________________________________________ Masq maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Admin requests can be handled at http://www.indyramp.com/masq-list/ -- THIS INCLUDES UNSUBSCRIBING! or email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] PLEASE read the HOWTO and search the archives before posting.
