Sorry, here are some more data, mi linux is redhat 9, kernel version 2.4.20-18.9, if you want i can atach my firewall script. i am using a switch. Mi linux box does have internet access always. My internet access is wireless. 256KB, and my local computer dont lose intranet access only internet access. and not all computers lose internet access just a few. thanks a lot. the script i'am using I took it from http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/IP-Masquerade-HOWTO/ i'am using the basic configuration. We are going to move to the strongest one as soon as we can get to work the basic one. thanks a lot.
