Thanks for taking a look Andrew. I do however have a forwarding rule:

ipchains -A forward -i $EXTERNAL_INTERFACE -s $LOCALNET_1 -j MASQ

I only included the section of my rc.firewall that pertained to SC...my
mistake. Could you possibly email a look your rc.firewall? I don't know
which I want more...to play SC or just figure this out.
