Hey,

I want to change the way my network is set up, but want to make sure it
will work before I start spending time on it. This is how I want it
to look:

ISP

|

| (isdn link, ppp0)

Firewall/Gatway/Masqer ------ Boss's home lan

| (56k modem, ppp1)

|(eth0)

|

/ \
                                                          office nework
Web/SMTP/POP3/Squid/DNS server

The gateway is the only machine that will have a valid ip address. the
office lan is 172.23.1.0 and
the boss's home lan is 172.23.2.0.

My current setup look just like this, with the exception that the gateway is
also the web/smtp/pop3/squid/dns
server, which for obvious reasons I don't like.

Basically, my question is can I forward all dns/web/smtp connects thru. pop3
is only checked from inside the network and squid should only be used
internally as well.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

John
