Hi there,

I don't know if I'm right, but ADSL here in Montreal cycles IP address quite
often, so maybe it's possible that your ISP is cycling your IP address even
though you have maintained the connection with them.  In order to fix this,
you'd have to run some kind of dhcpcd script which would request a new IP as
soon as you lose the one you had previously.  I don't know if this would
work, but you could test it by running dhcpcd as soon as you can no longer
connect to the net and see if that's the problem.  This is just my two
cents.  Good luck.
