Yes, I do have ICMP masq built into my kernel ( otherwise test four would fail,no?) My problem seems to be some interaction between diald (V 0.99) or PPP (2.0.35) and IP Masq as behaviour changes depending on whether there is an external connection or not. How is it that I can see the ICMP requests and replies with tcpdump but the W98 PC does not see the replies??
