Hello again. After another frustrating day of failing to get IP masquerading to work, it occurs to me that I may be expecting too much. Is, in fact, the following scenario possible to achieve? 1. Linux 2.0.36 server with Samba, Apache, proFTPd, mgetty, diald, IP Masquerading, eth0 IP =192.168.1.2, PPP0 interface IP = 203.2.199.201 (say)(constant) 2. Linux 2.0.36 application engine with Samba, eth0 IP=192.168.1.1 3. bunch of W9x PCs with IPs 192.168.1.n 4. W9x boxes access 192.168.1.1 via ethernet for telnet and Samba 5. W9x boxes access 192.168.1.2 via ethernet and Samba 6. W9x boxes access the world via ethernet/IP Masq/PPP on 192.168.1.2/203.2.199.201. I have done this sort of thing many times with "real" IP addresses but this is my first attempt with IP Masquerading so any and all advice is very welcome.
