Thanks to a post on the diald list, I have found a solution to my IP Masq problems:-)))) It seems that versions of diald later than 0.98.2 are flakey and somehow screw up routing. I found and installed 0.98.2 and IP masquerading now works as advertised. Thanks to all who offered assistance. Hopefully this post will help others.
