Hello,
I have RH5.3 with ipmasq running great. I am using it with the default
installation which came with redhat. While it is working, I am seeing
some collisions. I was wondering if I needed the udp patch? Is it
installed on RH5.3 (or 6.0 -- I'll be upgrading within a week or so).
I'm not sure what the udp patch does??
On another note, I am getting alot of these messages in in my messages
log:
May 24 22:00:12 linux kernel: eth1: Interrupted while interrupts are
masked! isr=0x0 imr=0x0
That may also have to do with the collisions.
And on a final note, when I do a traceroute I always see:
[snip]
traceroute: Warning: Multiple interfaces found; using 192.168.100.2
@eth0
traceroute to www.yahoo.com (204.71.200.74), 30 hops max, 40 byte
packets
1 * * *
[snip]
why do I always get the 3 '*' for the first hop?
I realize these are alot of questions, and I'm willing to work on 1 at
a time, I just thought that I could keep my postings down this way.
Thanks for any help in advance!!
Jeff
