I'm sorry but I'm not so familier with Novell... could anyone define
Novell SAP lists?
Also, the powers above me would be much happier if I didn't have to touch
the Novell servers. The way things stand now...
We have a bunch fo Novell servers, an NT domain server, a linux box
acting as a internet gateway & firewall, and bunches of win95 client
machines. Right now the problem is that the win95 machines lose
connectivity to the internet gateway at what appears to be random times.
I believe I have deterinmined it to be at fault of the novell servers
sending out RIP packets. Everything works fine if I seperate the linux
box and a client from the network. Therefore I ask, is there a way to
force the Win95 boxes to ignore the RIP packets? or... is it definately
true that we don't need the Noell servers sending out RIP? why would
novell servers need to send out RIP packets? Thanks.
