I just ran into this problem myself. When you use DHCP on a client, it ignores other network settings (actually I don't think this is quite always the case... but for the sake of argument lets say it does) So all those settings you defined statically need to be defined on the DHCP server as the information to pass to the client. On a WinNT DHCP server you goto DHCP Options, Scope, and add the appropreate things you need. Let me know if that helps.
