Does anybody have experience with this program? I looked
round on the masq apps site but there was no entry for it.
I'm guessing it doesn't really need any ports (tcpdump didn't
show anything suspicious), but that it reports its IP somehow,
and thus it doesn't work due to the 192.168.x IP on the
windows machine that it would be reporting. Which would
mean a masq module then. I'm no programmer though so it's
beyond my ability. And maybe I'm wrong to begin with. So,
anybody ever got this program to work through masq? Or
tried and found it impossible?
I've mailed Mediaring support and am waiting for an answer.
Most likely they'll just repeat what's on their website though.
And that, basically, is "won't work through firewall, period".
