Ack! Wow.. that is an important section missing. Sorry about that.
Its fixed and I've cleaned up some of the text and added exact examples
of how to use both older and newer versions of "dhcpcd". I'll try to
get this incremental version out ASAP. As it stands, I have a LOT
of things to add/fix/update to the HOWTO but I haven't had a whole lot
of time to work on it as of late.

The syntax of the IPCHAINS section is different since it it more
modern. If you really want a strong ruleset, use the one in
TrinityOS (url in my .sig below).

There are a LOT of PPP front ends out there. Personally, I don't
like most of them since once you get all the PPP stuff setup, its
pretty easy to start/stop. If you are still interesting in a
GUI front end, there are ones for KDE, Gnome, etc.
