Hello all,

I'm not a newbie (per se), but this is the first time I've worked on a
network. Here's the deal:

First, I've read all that I've been able to find on networks. And most is
just not understandable.

Ok, that said... I've got a two computer system here at home. Both are
486s. "Opus" is a 486/66mhz with a 56k modem to the the local ISP. "CW"
(short for Chilly Willy <I'm naming my systems after Peguins> :) is a
486/100mhz system. CW is connected to Opus by twisted pair cable. I have a nfs
system setup between the two, I can ping & telnet between the two. I'm
running SuSE 5.2 using kernal 2.0.33. I know that it's a bit old but right
at the moment I don't have any way (ie money) to upgrade.

CW ---(Ethernet) ---> Opus ---(dialup ppp) ---> Internet

The problem is that I want to get to the 'net from CW, but nothing works.
I've tried to setup Masquerading but whenever I configure it I end up
cutting CW off from Opus.

Could someone take pity on this poor network newbie and explain in short
simple words what to do to get CW on the net? If this is something that
should not be on the list please email me privatly.

THANKS!
