To set up basic masquerading that works, all you need are forwarding
rules, set up with "-F". The other rules are for firewalling purposes.
That being said, setting up a firewall is a damned good idea, in this
dangerous place known as the Internet. You might think that nobody
would care to get into your silly little private net and destroy it, but
there are plenty of Internet vandals out there, with nothing better to
do. Go ahead and lock your door at night.
