You cannot run CHAT scripts with ISDN connections because ISDN
is a syncronous connection vs. a modem is asyncronous. If you
want to put an ISDN T/A into asyncronous mode, enable v.120 mode.
Note: you will take a ~20% ISDN performance hit doing this

This is the ONLY way to do it. PAP or CHAP is the only way to go.
v.120 shouldn't be an option.
