I have just set up my box to use mgetty to
answer (through inittab), and have configured the modem. In fact, I have reached
the point where I also made a script to log on to the Linux box. But when I log
in, I get disconnected immediately! I'm not sure, though, if it had something to
do with IPfwadm....
Is there anything else I have to do?
btw, how do I assign an IP # to a modem? I get disconnected
immediately when I log in with a defined IP#, but the system will respond that
it didn't receive an IP # if I just leave it as default (i.e. server assigned
IP).
Any pointers will be appreciated.
