} This is actually well known. The reason is that NM sends the local IP
} address in a packet body. Masquerading can only change the header. So
} the NM LDAP server has both the masqueraded address and the local
} address.
Actually if someone could build an appropriate helper module then this
could be addressed - ftp carries an IP/port address in the packet bodies
rather than in the headers, and the ip_masq_ftp module handles this
corectly. The problem is that the H.323 stuff that NetMeeting is based on
is a very complicated can of worms.
} The only way around this is to use tunneling with PPTP to another NT
} box, and then use NM through that. The NM server needs to be on a
} different machine as the PPTP server, though. This is the way I use
} it. However, PPTP is rather slow.
This is a more interesting twist on this problem. It would be nice if
someone could make some notes on this sort of solution for a FAQ or
similar.
