Assuming that the new Arlington Quint can fit in any of the 3 fire
stations (which might be a stretch) -

1. The new Quint could replace Ladder 2 - this will cause very minor
changes since Ladder 2 is rarely used. AFD could use the Quint as the
2nd rig on any highrise box.

2. The new Quint could replace Ladder 1 - this would cause very minor changes.

3. The new Quint could replace Engine 3 at Park Circle. This would
increase the regularly running aerial count from 1 to 2 - but all runs
from Park Circle are downhill - which might be fun for a big Quint in
the winter.

4. The new Quint could replace Engine 2 - this would put in service
rigs at : 2 pumps (E1 & E3) - 1 ladder (L1) - 1 quint. An overriding
factor might be - what is the water pressure in the hydrants? If you
lay a 4 inch feeder uphill from a hydrant - does a pumper need to pump
the hydrant?

5. The new Quint could replace Engine 1. This would put 2 big rigs in
Arlington Center - they might not both fit in the station - and they
run many medical calls.

6. Place your bets now!
