Western Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council wants to add 2 more UHF
repeater sites - there are 6 attachments to this pending license -
they explain that 2 to 3 years will be required for implementation

For background - Berkshire County is the last county in Massachusetts
before you hit New York - Berkshire County is all VHF highband - to
the east, some of the PDs use UHF - so they want to expand 2 UHF
channels to the West - meanwhile, the State is spending $20M or
whatever to bring 800 mhz to Berkshire County - Mt Greylock rises to
3000 feet in Berkshire County IIRC - Mt Greylock is the highest spot
in Massachusetts
