Licensed 3/7/2014 - WQTM797 to Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill Mass - 463.6125 R and several portable radio channels
Haverhill is a city of approx. 50,000 people. Haverhill PD has a couple of channels at 470 mhz. They are encrypted. Haverhill FD operates in the VHF high band (154.3625R is primary). Ambulance to hospital communications is via cellphones, the UHF med channels, and perhaps 155.34. If the hospital buys dual band portable radios for the security department, they will have the capability to scan traffic from Haverhill FD and the local ambulances. Since the Haverhill PD uses encryption, Haverhill Hospital Security radios will not be able to talk to Haverhill PD units - unless the hospital radios have encryption capability and the correct encryption codes/keys. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
