looking at the 241PM maps - for Cape Cod we have - 100% chance of 2 inches - 86% chance of 4 inches - 60% chance of 6 inches - 40% chance of 8 inches - 15% chance of 12 inches - 1% chance of 18 inches
You might say that there is a 50% chance of 7 inches Two days ago the maps showed a 92% chance of 6 inches. Seems that the predicted amounts dropped, but are inching back up. Interesting. (note - sometimes the predictions vary widely across the Cape - like 60% chance of 6 inches at Chatham, but 30% at Barnstable and Provincetown - ??????)
