I am not really sure what they are doing in regards to the number of aerials assigned on 1 thru 3 alarms Not really sure on RIT either I usually hear a first alarm go out, and the dispatcher tells the Chief what the 'RIT Engine' is. So that seems to indicate that the typical first alarm is 4 E + 2 L + 1 R. But if the extra help is sent, this listing shows the RIT to be 1 E + 1 L+ 1 TL. After is a 2nd alarm or 3rd alarm is transmitted, then maybe the goal is to have a total of 2 L on first, 2 L on 2nd, 1 TL, - plus 1 L on 3rd. But maybe that depends on the timing of the 2nd alarm vs the sending of the full RIT. In any case - they just assign 1 FG channel so you will hear them all on the same channel. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
