When DCFD get a call for smoke coming out of a subway station, they just assume that it is a gum wrapper on fire (the media seems to be bending over backwards to blame the transit people and absolve the FD - I wonder why) I assume that when FDNY gets a call for smoke from a subway, they send box alarm responses to the 2 closest subway stations - maybe not If Boston FD gets a call for smoke in or from a subway station, they send a box alarm response to the station. I dont know what they do if the call is between stations. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
