official info on the Valley Fire from CDF

started on Sept 12 - I'll be damned

585 homes destroyed (plus hundreds more) - I think they are trying to
say that they have confirmed that 585 homes have been destroyed - and
there are hundreds more out buildings that have been destroyed - or
maybe commercial blds - or maybe they are saying that hundreds more
homes have been destroyed above the 585 number - i am kinda surpised
that there are 500 homes in that area
