they now have a FD medic ambulance staffed 24/7 - which also covers Sandown iirc previously they were covered by maybe Derry FD amb or a private amb in Rockingham County NH they have 5 people in the station now 24/7 - The Department operates from a recently renovated central fire station. The Department’s staffing model utilizes full-time firefighters, per diem firefighters, per diem Paramedics, and a small contingent of call firefighters. The department is in its first year of a fire-based ambulance service (which includes the Town of Sandown) and the staffing model allows for 5 personnel on duty 24/7. There are 4 groups that work a rotating average 42-hour workweek that includes a Lieutenant, two full time firefighters, one 24 hour per diem firefighter, and one 24 hour per diem Paramedic.
