it seems that all of the volunteer FDs have been merged into the county FD - and now the county FD wants to take over the city FD the city was covering a 5 mile radius - but now thats up in the air looking at the zerg90 map - https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1WfpITZ_psz7gydFEGY7XkLshxNBItWY&usp=sharing - they seem to have pretty good coverage countywide - except due south of the city check out the GFC station - 4 huge dozer transports check out the airport also - 3 GFC Cessnas and CAP and medevac this problem exists in many areas - always a war between the paid FD in the county seat - and the rural FDs - maybe a dozen countys have merged all the fire stations into 1 real countywide FD several of the county FD stations are just 1 bay garages - no muss - no fuss not sure how PD and ambulance and 911 are set up - a couple of the county fire stations have white ambulances - with numbers that dont match the fire station - and there are 3 "Central" ambulances parked at a repair garage next to county fire sta 7 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
