Hi!

I know it's a somehow exotic platform, but i managed to get mrxvt up on an
interix system (a unix-like layer on top of native windows). I did this in
the course of porting gentoo-alt/prefix to interix, so i use portage
(emerge) heavily.

I'm also not sure if this is the right place for my problem, maybe it's a
portage bug, so please tell me if i'm wrong :)

everytime i do "emerge ...." my backspace key messes up. after emerge
returns, i have to type CTRL+backspace instead, which is really annoying. A
new tab openend after running emerge in the first one does not have this
problem though.

i somewhere heard that portage does some terminal reset at the end, but i
don't know for sure.

Any comments on this? Thanks in advance anyway,

Cheers, Markus
