Great. Thanks John. There was one other thing I forgot to mention. I added two lines (+comment) in the backend_wx.py to select the Pan/Zoom tool by default. If you don't like that, then obviously just leave those lines out, But I find that pan/zoom is what I want to do 90% of the time, and zoom is the other 10%. "No tool" is what I want pretty much 0% of the time (is there some use for no-tool mode that I'm missing?)
