Does *anything* or does *anyone* outside of enthought actually support traits now? I know Fernando has said he is sold on it for ipython, but I did not see it in the latest release. While I greatly appreciate the time and effort you have put into developing the first mpl use of traits, Darren, I remain unconvinced that now is the time--if at all--to tie mpl irrevocably to traits.
