Hi All, I was downloading matplotlib on a windows machine and the sourceforge site (http://sourceforge.net/projects/matplotlib/) showed me basemap as the default download (instead of the latest matplotlib). On Mac the default download shows correctly as matplotlib.
This is some autodetection from sourceforge, so I don't know if it is a sitewide problem, or it can be configured from the project page. Just to let the admins know.
