1. Sorry if I miss this in the docs, but what are the default values of rstride and cstride? It seems these automagically limit the amount of data used by the surface plot.
2. Also, what is the right way to set alpha for the surface? If I use an alpha keyword for plot_surface, I cannot seem to push the alpha above the default, which looks to be about 0.5. (I can however make the surface more transparent.) 3. In interactive mode, the "Home" button does not seem to restore the original perspective? (TkAgg backend.) Should it? (I'd like it to.)
