Ah ok, I've sent it on to you. I've just tried setting font.family to "New Century Schoolbook" directly but it generates something similar. I'm starting to think part of the problem is that I've set the home directory to U: somehow, U: being a shared drive which doesn't have a font directory... I don't know how I set this, it's not mentioned in the rc file anywhere that I can see...
