Hmmm, Why don't you look at Ray's PhD dissertation. He discussed, I think, three different algorithms with detailed formulas, etc. He gives all the formulas, data structures, etc. You could write your own in no time and no package can be more usable than your own. I know it was done in 1995 but I do not expect any breakthroughs since then. Any comments Ray?
