Matpower uses an internal function ext2int and its reciprocal ext2int
which basically number the busses from one to "number of busses" and
remember the original bus number so that they can be placed back later.
See the contents of those two files if you want to learn more.

Hi everyone,
I am a phd student from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.
I have a simple question.
makeYbus function works well in IEEE 14 bus test case, IEEE 30
bus test case, IEEE 57 bus test case, and IEEE 118 bus test case.
In IEEE 300 bus test case it gives an error as shown below:
"buses must appear in order by bus number"
I controlled case300.m file and i saw that the buses are not really
in order. After bus 250 the bus numbering changes. Can anyone offer
me any solution to this problem? Or am i doing something wrong?
Thank you very much
Oguzhan
