Dear Jigna,

PTDF matrix for both case (contingency of transmission lines and with out
contingency) will be different due to the changing parameters of the
network.

The coefficients of PTDF matrix will change by their base case value
(without contingency), and the dimension of PTDF matrix will reduce by
number of contingent transmission lines.

Moreover, the computation burden is less compare to run of DC-load flow.
Since, DC-load flow is iterative,comparatively.

Best regards
Sincerely yours
Neeraj Gupta
