I'm not sure what you mean by having losses "not be taken into consideration by the opf" without "eliminating" them. I don't think you can have it both ways. If you want an OPF based on a lossless approximation to the network, I see two options … (1) a DC OPF or (2) an AC OPF with the branch resistances set to zero.
