The current version of MATPOWER includes some (unsupported) contributed code in 
extras/cpf for doing continuation power flow. However, MATPOWER does not 
directly model FACTS devices.

I also expect that in the next version of MATPOWER will will move the 
continuation power flow feature into the main MATPOWER distribution.
