assistance to other MATPOWER users. It is really appreciated.

Just a comment on the results being “garbage” in this case. With MATPOWER, this 
warning usually arises in the computation of the Newton update step in the MIPS 
interior point solver, meaning that the update step computed may be “garbage”. 
Typically, this results in non-convergence and success = 0. However, if these 
warnings arise on the way to a converged solution with success = 1, the OPF 
results should be correct. In this case, it just means that even though some of 
the update steps were “garbage” they still led “toward” a local minimum which 
was eventually found.
