Hi guys, I’m running most_ex5_mpopf.m and try to get to a situation where load shedding is necessary.
For that I try to increase the load such that it will be higher than max generator capacity. I've tried that using: 1. Increase profile(2).values to very high values. 2. Decrease mpc values: mpc.gen(4, [PG PMAX]) = -2000 (450 by default). This doesn’t help and I always seem to get -540 MW in generator 4 (the dispatchable load). Where does this number come from? Is it intentional? I would also appreciate if someone can give a brief overview of what is the relation between the profiles of most and loads of the mpc, and why does the MILP objective always outputs a number that contains the full load shedding penalty.
