Hello,

You can set the renewable source as an active power generation source in
generator matrix use PG column to set its maximum power output as Pmax and if
it can not generate reactive power then treat that bus as PQ bus by numbering
it '2' in bus matrix or in other way you can use it (same generation capacity
of renewable) as a negative load in bus matrix.

Sorry Sir, i didn't understand what do you mean by that "set the bus to PQ if
it is not able to provide voltage support (reactive power)."

Yes, you can put renewable generators in mpc.gen. For power flow, you need to
set PG to the desired output, with a positive sign and set the bus to PQ if it
is not able to provide voltage support (reactive power).

Dear friends,

I would like to know if it is possible to represent the renewable generators in
mpc.gen section as generators??

Moreover i would like this only for Power Flow not in Optimal Power Flow.

If it is doable i need to set the Pmax as the capacity of the renewable
generator as a negative sing or positive sign?? and Qmax zero because the
renewable generators do not dispatch reactive power

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards
