Hello, I work at Texas A&M University-Commerce under Luke. We have been trying to figure out the way to make the USB camera to work on the server version of Ubuntu 10.04. However, it has been a pain to understand why it was not working. Then we tried installing the fresh desktop version of Ubuntu and hey it works. We believe desktop version is not what we want to use for the lecture capture agent. So do you all have any ideas what might be wrong with the server version not supporting the camera.
