Just for what its worth, I was talking with an echo rep last year and they said they look for differences of 30%. This is a pretty meaningless number without deeper info, but might be useful to someone.
If you want to have a fun time watching (all) segmentation break, use a table with a smart sympodium and handwriting. All of the segments will be blank screens (since going from a full screen to a blank screen is the biggest delta across bands, and usually results in a stable image).
